Sound perspective in my previous work

Using sound and music in a way that you come closer towards someone's perception is very important for me. I use music, but during shooting I always start with sounddesign ideas and developing them together with the sounddesigner. I search for ways to incorporate the sounds we find on the 'set' in the music. So it starts the rhythm and feels less alienated from the location.
Through sound every location becomes a world of it's own. For my documentary 'The Free Market', there were 'two worlds' the market and the markethall which is being build just next door to the market. These worlds clash and in the sound approach we used that.
